We had a mediaeval Cub camp in Lydney deerpark. Quests, jousting, trebuchet, a visit to the temple. Even managed to spot the Northern Lights. Weather was kind.

Glorious weather today and we had Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, and adults on the water at Mallards Pike.
Cubs get to enjoy a fun activity weekend camp at Cirencester.
May cub camp was the first opportunity to pitch the new marquees. The other Gala tents had done great service but we bought them in 2007 and they were showing their age.
First camp for a while. We had forgotten a lot. Enjoyed the Deerpark, as always
Restrictions were relaxed in the Autumn and we held a few socially distanced meetings with Cubs and Scouts. We managed to run an afternoon of archery and tomahawk throwing for Scouts and a session of airgun target shooting before the lockdown was reimposed in January.
