Wye Canoe Exped
It was a heatwave for the Scout paddle down the Wye. Started at Luckshall Campsite, camped at Tresseck at Hoarwithy. Decided not to paddle on Sunday, even an early start would have carried risk of over-heating.

Glorious weather today and we had Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, and adults on the water at Mallards Pike.
Cubs get to enjoy a fun activity weekend camp at Cirencester.
Another great weekend camp and fun event for Scouts at Cirencester Park.
We had a great paddle down the Wye. Started at Ross, down to Lydbrook. Glorious Day
First Survival Friday for 4 years. Chilly overnight, so people were up at 0450 😮
May cub camp was the first opportunity to pitch the new marquees. The other Gala tents had done great service but we bought them in 2007 and they were showing their age.
Sam, Adam and Mark gained (or regained) their Young Person Supervisor permit to conduct target shooting with air rifles at the weekend.
We combined our AGM with a Scout Families Fun Afternoon. Climbing wall plus archery and tomahawk throwing. Great afternoon.
First camp for a while. We had forgotten a lot. Enjoyed the Deerpark, as always
